In our white gallery space, a solo show of works by west of Scotland based artist Jennifer Guest.

Inspired by a lifelong love of the natural world and the invigorating experience of wild swimming, artist Jennifer Guest's distinctive style blends traditional techniques with contemporary sensibilities.

After graduating with a BA(Hons) in Art and Design, Jennifer pursued a career as a therapist and author, publishing eight books and workbooks on emotional wellbeing and mental health. Her passion for creativity ultimately led her back to art as a full-time pursuit.

Jennifer's artistic process begins with a vibrant foundation of ink and coloured pencils, layered with meticulous line work to create images reminiscent of lino or woodcut prints. Her work captures the tranquility and exhilaration of the natural world, particularly the serene beauty and invigorating power of water.

Having previously called Yorkshire home, Jennifer now thrives in the breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife of the Scottish Highlands, where she continues to draw inspiration for her art.
