liz myhill

Scottish artist Liz Myhill RSW SWLA creates award-winning observational paintings rooted in direct experience of the landscape. Working en plein air, she forges a deep connection with her subjects, drawing enduring inspiration from her native Isle of Skye and the dramatic Highlands and Islands, where her artistic sensibility first took root. A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, and now based in Perthshire, Liz’s work has been widely celebrated in exhibitions across the UK. Her commitment to her artistic vision is recognized through her election to the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (2017) and the Society of Wildlife Artists (2023). Beyond her Scottish focus, Liz’s inherent drive for creative development and an adventurous nature have led her to undertake significant artist residencies in diverse global settings, including India, Cuba, and South America, further informing her unique perspective.
