A detail from the stone wall from an old barn on the artist’s family farm on the Knoydart peninsula. Built sometime during the 1700s, and once a haybarn, the building is now roofless and a place for sheep to take shelter. Fragments of nature reclaim the weathered building, and it is this detail that Wilson has honed in on, in particular the leafy ferns – Maidenhair Spleenwort – which have grown on the walls.
