Handcrafted from Burr Oak, resin and foraged treasure in a small, one-man workshop on the Isle of Lismore.
Inspired by a time when life was inseparable from the sea. Old maps of Lismore show more than 17 named ports that today look like small stony beaches breaking up the rugged coastline.
On the South Eastern Coast of Lismore, the shingle beach of Port Balure is one of few places to land a small boat. Only sheep live here now, the only sign of bygone activity is an old crumbled stone dwelling that once had a water mill powered by a stream only 50 meters from the shore.
