port an rubha
ports of lismore collection

Handcrafted from elm, resin and foraged treasure in a small, one-man workshop on the Isle of Lismore.

Inspired by a time when life was inseparable from the sea. Old maps of Lismore show more than 17 named ports that today look like small stony beaches breaking up the rugged coastline.

On the Southern tip of Lismore is port Rubha (point) looking across to Mull. It is one of the larger stony beaches with crystal clear water and plenty of room to pull small boats clear of the water. Millions of people have viewed this area from the Mull ferry, but few will ever visit.
